We're looking for a team of local correspondents in the Netherlands, Germany, the UK, Italy, France, Australia, Canada, South America and Asia to cover local events and artists. The more the merrier, so if you live in an area that has an independent electronic music scene, drop us a line!
This is a volunteer position, you will not be paid (none of us are...we do it for the love!), so ideally we'd be looking for someone that would be following the scene already - a fellow musician, DJ, producer or blogger.
The job is fairly simple, keep an eye out for shows by electronic artists in your area that our readers might be interested in and post them to our event calendar. You would also be keeping an ear to the ground for new independent artists that could be featured on the blog. If you could actually go to some of the shows, take pics and blog about the experiences, that'd be even better!
If you're interested, send me an email or PM with your name, location and tell us a little about why you'd be good for the job. If you're a musician yourself, link us to your music, your blog, whatever.

Hi Gravity Halo, I live in London, and although I don't go to that many gigs because of financial and time constraints, I would be happy to contribute events in London and also the occasional review. Recent gigs i have been to include Ben Frost, Fred Frith and I'm seeing Stephen O'Malley this week at Cafe Oto (although this is really free-improv). More into the avant-garde side of electronic music, but I can review new music and have lots of contact with the independent music scene in London, as i am an independent electronic musician myself. I would really appreciate it if you could give my music a listen, and perhaps if you like it, feature it on the blog? Thanks, tokyosleeppolice.bandcamp.com/my email is: thanksforyourears at googlemail dot com
